It’s not a snake— it’s a legless lizard! That’s right: a LEGLESS LIZARD!
We spotted this dude crossing the road one morning and I picked it up to get it out of harm’s way and it was really sluggish and not nearly as flexible as your average snake and even though Cat refused to touch it, well, I’d always heard about these things and never seen one, since they live mostly underground and anyway, this event was one of my top five highlights of trip. Hooray!
Seriously, is anyone else excited by this? No? What’s wrong with you people?
